SMAL AIR is a super-resolution microsphere amplifying lens that does not need an immersion medium. This exciting break-through opens up new frontiers of optical inspection for a number of markets. We are especially excited to see what benefits SMAL AIR will provide to researchers in the advanced semiconductor space, where sub-diffraction resolution is sought, but samples are too sensitive to be immersed.
